Peace in the Valley

The term peace in the valley is a metaphor that refers to agreement or a compromise among all pertinent parties relating to an issue or situation.

Example:

The American Bar Association, the members of the Courts of Justice Committee, and the 3 attorneys who previously disagreed on the legislation have now reached a compromise and there is “peace in the valley.”
