Politician: U.S. Senator John Boozeman (R-AR)
The office of Senator John Boozman is accepting applications for ongoing internships in his Washington, D.C. office, lasting until May 25th. Prospective interns should be responsible, focused, self-motivated, and organized. Duties will include answering phones, giving US Capitol tours, front office administration, processing mail, attending hearings and briefings, as well as assisting staff with research, communications, and/or constituent services projects as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for college students who are interested in the political process and are seeking practical, hands-on experience in a Capitol Hill office. Internships are unpaid, but academic credit is available for qualifying students. Candidates must have completed at least two years of undergraduate study and must either be a U.S. citizen or in the U.S. legally. Arkansas ties preferred but not required.
