Bias

 

The term bias refers to partiality, predisposition, or prejudice in favor or opposed to someone or something.The term usually has negative connotations.

 

Example:

 

Having worked with the senator in state government for so many years the legislative aide was considered to be biased when it came to the question of the senator’s qualifications for the position.
