Democracy

 

A Democracy is a form or system of government whereby the citizens retain sovereign or supreme power, and decisions are made based on majority rule.

Democracy is sometimes referred to as "mob rule." 

 

Note: The United States of America is often thought to be a Democracy, however, it is in fact, a Republic that uses aspects of Democracy.
