New England Democratic Senator seeks a Deputy Scheduler/Assistant to the Chief of Staff. Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to,: providing administrative support to the Senator’s Director of Scheduling and Operations including oversight of the Senator’s daily briefing binder, correspondence, travel arrangements, and call lists; planning and maintaining the Chief of Staff’s calendar, meetings, calls and travel; maintaining the utmost confidentiality and discretion at all times; and performing a wide variety of additional administrative duties as required by daily operations of the office. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, detail-oriented, with a shown a history of sound professional judgment and problem solving capabilities. Must have ability to multitask and balance workload in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with various personalities and styles. Superior oral and written communication skills are required. This is not an entry-level position. Scheduling and/or executive assistant background, prior Hill experience, and direct ties to New England are greatly preferred.
