Politician: U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen
Senator Van Hollen has an opening for a Field Representative on his state team. Primary responsibilities include representing Senator Van Hollen throughout Charles, St. Mary’s, Calvert and Anne Arundel Counties. The Field Representative will be the primary point of contact and engagement for the Senator throughout this region, helping to establish a strong presence for the Senator. This staff member will be based in the Senator’s Annapolis office. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Southern Maryland, be self-motivated and great at multi-tasking, have a strong desire to help people, and have excellent interpersonal and writing skills. Evening and weekend hours are often required. This is a full-time position with federal benefits.
