Senator Merkley is seeking a Press Intern for the fall semester in his Washington, D.C. office. Press Interns work closely with the communications team to track daily news coverage, record media analytics, conduct research, and produce content to be shared across social media platforms, among other tasks and projects as assigned by the communications team. Experience with editing, graphic design and/or writing for social media is recommended. Applicants must possess strong writing skills and attention to detail, work well within a team, have a working knowledge of new media, demonstrate a willingness to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
