Privacy Rights

Americans value the right to privacy as individuals, in the home, on personal property, in relationships, and in families. It is necessary to continue to fiercely defend those rights.

The issue of privacy rights will need to be re-evaluated as the development of the Internet has revealed a new type of space that was previously unknown and inaccessible. It is now a publicly accessible space and through technology, there are ways to create private space that has become a variety of private property. With the creation of new private property, privacy laws must expand in order to protect privacy within this new private space.
