Senior Democratic member of the Judiciary Committee seeks a Counsel to work on judicial nominations, civil rights, and other issues as assigned.  JD required.  Ideal candidate would be at least 8 years out of law school, with a mixture of Hill, law firm, and/or nonprofit experience.  Strong analytic ability, including the ability to effectively communicate analysis in both oral and written format, is essential.  Must be a team player and able to work under time pressure in a fast-paced environment, while still maintaining a positive attitude.  This is not an entry-level position—please no recent graduates.
